Photographs: Woman wounded on the cheek experiences fruitful surgery and is in stable condition

Fatuma Ibrahim who was purportedly cut on the cheek by her spouse with a blade that experienced her skull is ensuring recuperation after specialists at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) performed a fruitful operation on her.

KNH Chief Executive Officer Lily Koros while tending to the media on Friday evening said the surgery was done on Ms Ibrahim at about midnight to evacuate the blade held up in her skull after the assault. She said that the 32 year-old lady, who must be transported to Nairobi from Wajir on Thursday night subsequent to being wounded a few times by her spouse, was in stable condition. Aside from the blade in her face, the patient likewise endured wounds on her thigh, midriff and arms.
