Dolphin FC and Sharks FC converge to frame Rivers United FC, Rivers State govt reports

The Rivers State Government has been allowed authorization by the League Management Company to change Dolphins football club's name to Rivers United F.c. Additionally as the Rivers State government arrangements to streamline monetary expense in the state sports division, the administration has blended Dolphins football club with it's sister club Sharks Football club to frame the new Rivers United FC.

The endorsement was passed on in a letter by the LMC. It read:

"According to the procurements to the article A5.4 of the Framework and Rules of the Nigeria Professional Football League, having appropriately considered your consent to change the name of the club from "Dolphins Football Club" to "Streams United Football Club". "We are satisfied to pass on to you the endorsement of the League Management Company."

The club scarcely got away from the drop last season as they required a 2-2 away draw against Shooting Stars in the last day of the crusade and the Rivers State government has grown new systems to redevelop the club and re-position it for accomplishment in the coming years.
